Purchase of Property in Hanslope by William Greene of Kingsthorpe

Following are excepts from indenture for purchase of land in Hanslope, Buckinghamshire 10th August 1717.

William Greene is thought to be William Green I2589 on family tree, who died in Kingsthorpe in 1749. Samuel Green is thought to be William's son.

Indenture 10th day of August in the fourth year of the reign of George, 1717.
Between John Goodman of Hanslope and Elizabeth his wife and William Cooke of Hanslope, butcher, and Magdalen his wife and William Greene of Kingsthorpe, yeoman. In consideration of £88 4s 3d to John Goodman and £11 5s to William Cooke by William Greene.
Transfer Messuage or Tenement lying and being in Goldstreete in the Church End in the parish of Hanslope in the occupation of Samuel Green. The house and grounds now or late in the occupation of Lewis Ansell lying on the East part and the house or ground now or late in occupation of William Cooke ie the West part of the said messuage or tenement were formerly divided into two tenements or dwellings in occupation of John Sutton and John Williams and was before that time the freehold and inheritance of one Hugh Glover and was purchased by one William Courty of Arthur Glover son and hewir of the said Hgh and lately purchased by William Goodman father of the said John Goodman together with all and singular outhouses, edifices, buildings, barns, stables, yards, orchards, gardens etc hedges, ditches, ffeurs mounds, walls, trees, woods, underwoods, wayes, wares, pathes, passages easements proffits comodityes hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever unto the said messuage or tenement and premises belonging or in any wise apperteyneing or adopted reputed taken or known as part or parcell of the same and the everything to William Greene
