William Liddiard died 29th March 1848. I am having great difficulty finding the ancestors of Elizabeth Ann Liddiard, my Great Grandmother. Hopefully this and other Liddiard wills will help sort them out.

Will and Codicile
Testator died 29 March 1848
This is the last Will and Testament of me William liddiard of Eastbury in the County of Berks yeoman. First I direct all my just Debts to be paid. I give unto my dear Wife such Household Furniture as belonged to her before she married I give and devise unto my Brother Charles Liddiard of Wantage in the County of Berks Grocer and Richard Barrett of Eastbury aforesaid yeoman All my real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever to hold the same to them their heirs and assigns upon the Trusts following (that is to say) Upon Trust to pay to or otherwise permit my said Wife and her assigns during her life if she shall so long continue my Widow to receive and take the Rents and Profits thereof and from and immediately after her decease or second marriage do and shall stand seized and possessed of my said real Estate Upon Trust to sell the same in such manner as my said Trustees or the Survivor pf them or the Heirs or assigns of such survivor shall trhink fit and do and shall stand possessed of the Monies to be so produced upon Trust to pay and divide the same equally amongst such of my nephews and nieces as shall be living at the time of the decease or second marriage of my said Wife and I will and declare that every receipt signed by my said Trustees or the survivor of them or the Heirs Executors or administrators of such survivor shall be an effectual discharge to the person or persons paying any monies under the trusts of this my Will and that the person or persons paying such monies shall not afterwards be obliged to seed to the application or non application thereof and I give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever unto the said Charles Liddiard and Richard Barrett their Executors and administrators upon Trust to convert the same such money as soon as convenient after my decease and do and shall pay and divide the produce thereof equally between and amongst all and every my nephews and nieces as shall be living at the time of my decease and I appoint my said Brother Charles Liddiard and the said Richard Barrett Executors of this my Will. In Witness whereof the said William Liddiard the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and affixed my seal the Thirteenth day of February One thousand eight hundred and twenty eight.

This is a Codicil to the last will and Testament of me William Liddiard of Eastbury in the County of Berks yeoman which I have just executed. I hereby declare and it is my will that in the event of my dying having issue or should my wife be ensient with child at the time of my decease that my said will shall be void and of no effect and I hereby revoke the same in witness whereof I have to this Codicil set my hand and seal this Thirteenth day of February One thousand eight hundred and twenty eight.

The Executors Oath was administered to Charles Liddiard of Wantage in the County of Berks Gentleman late a Grocer and William Barrett of Eastbury aforesaid yeoman at Lambourn in the County of Berks On the fifteenth day of June 1848. They decared his estate to have a value less than £7,000.
