I believe this is the will of my 5XG Grandfather and the G Grandfather of Frances and Abraham, who emigrated to America
For as much as it is Appointed for all men I Abraham Walter the Elder of Little Bowden in the County of northampton Husbandman being sick and weak as to body nut nonetheless perfect mind and memory Doo make this my Last Will and Testament Item I give to my Son Abraham Walter one shilling and the house that was mine and that parsel of land with the Appurtenances there unto belonging after the Death of mee and my Loving wife Mary I give to my Daughter Mary Walter Fifty pounds of good and Lawful Money of Great Brittan to be paid? by my Executrix when shee is one and twenty years of age also I give her that bed and bedding in the Palor also I give her that Dresses with the [ ] in the house and the great pan and all the goods and linen that her Mother brought Item all the rest of my Housse Lands Goods and Cattles and whatsoever is mine I give to my loving wife during her life and after her Death I give what she leaves to my Son Abraham Walter I make my loving wife executrix of this my last will in witness hereof I the said Abraham Walter have Sett my hand and seal the Fifth day of June 1740.
