 In the Name of God Amen I Catherine Crooke of Tytherton Lucas in the

County of Wilts Spinster being weak of body but of sound and disposing mind and
memory do make this my last will and Testament and hereby dispose of the worldly
Estate where with it hath pleased God to bless me in manner and forme following That
is to say Impris I give and bequeath unto Chapman Hurles Thomas Hurles John Hurles Simon Hurles
Catherine Hurles Mary Hurles & Elizabeth Hurles sons and daughters of my sister
Mary Hurles the wife of Chapman Hurles of Foxleigh in the said County of Wilts
Yeoman thhe sume of Two hundred pounds of lawfull Brittish money to being
equally divided between them share and share a like And my will is that if any or
either of my said nephews or nieces shall depart this life  before he she or they shall
have attained the age of one and twenty years That then and in such case the share or
shares of him her or them so dying shall go & remaine? unto the survivors or
Survivors of them Item I give unto the said Simon Hurles who is my Godson and
the said Elizabeth Hurles my Godaughter the further Sume of Ten pounds apiece of
the lawfull money and my will is that the said Sum of Two Hundred pounds two? her?
pounds? shall be paid by my Executor hereinafter named within three months next
after my decease into the hands of my said brother in Law Chapman Hurles whose
receipt shall be a full discharge to  my Executor for the same and every part thereof
Nevertheless my will is and I do hereby direct the payment of the said severall sumes
upon this Special Trust and confidence that my said Brother in Law Chapman
Hurles shall putt the said moneys out at Interest or otherwise imploy invest?
the same To & for the only benefit and advantage of his children the legatees before named
and pay the same to them respectively at their respective ages of one and twenty years
Item I give to my Sister Elizabeth Eddolls the wife of Edward Eddolls
the sume of Fifty pounds of like lawfull money to and for her sole & only benefit
advantage and behoofe To be paid to her by my Executor within three months
next after my decease Item I give to my Brother Thomas Crooke & my Brother
Edward Crooke one Guinea a piece Item I give to Thomas Crooke Edward Crooke
Simon Crooke Robert Crooke Ellis Crooke Mary Crooke & Dorothy Crooke Sons &
Daughters of my said brother Edward Crooke & to each and every one
[    ] of Gold Item I give to my sister Mary Hurles my best Gown and
Petticoat my laced red Cloth Petticoat and my black Silk Petticoat Item I give to my said
Sister Elizabeth my brown Silk gown and Petticoat and my flowered work petticoat
Item I give to my Cozen? Elizabeth Ponting my best hatt and my best Under
petticoat Item I give to Ann Cole the wife of Anthony Cole my old black petticoat
and my gown that is lined with Striped Yellow Item I give to Frances []
my plaine poppling gown and my striped serge petticoat all the rest & residue whatform
of my wearinvg apparrel Silk Linen & woollen I give & bequeath unto my said
sisters Mary & Elizabeth equally between them Item I give to the said Ann
Cole and to Ann Tranter Widow the sume of ten shillings apeece & to Mary Hall
widow the sume of Twenty shillings All the rest residue and remainder of
my estate realle?and personall Estate whatsoever not herein before disposed off
(after my said Legacyes Debts & Funeral expenses shall be first Satisfied and paid)
I give devise and bequeath unto my Brother Simon Crooke his Heirs executors? and
Administrators to for his and their own use and uses for ever And I do hereby nominate
make constitute and appoint my said Brother Simon Crooke Whole and Sole
Executor of this my last will and Testament and do hereby revoke all former will and
wills by me made In Witness whereof I have to this my last will and Testament
contained in two sheets of paper [] to the first thereof sett my hand and to the second
thereof my hand and seal this nine and twentieth day of November in the twelfth
year of the reigne of King George over? Great Brittaine & th Anno Dm 1725
