Philip Liddiard of Wroughton - his Will - 1667

I believe Philip was my 8xG Grandfather. In the name of God Amen
I Philip Lidiard of Moorstowne? in the parish of Wroughton in the County of Wilts
yeoman Being weake in body But thanks be to God of perfect mind and memory
Doe make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following Imprimis
I Comitt my soule into the hands of Almighty God And my body unto the Earth to
be decently buried And for my worldly Estate I dispose as followeth. Item I give
unto my sonne Philip Lidiard One Hundred Pounds To be paid within Six months
after my decease Item I give unto my sonne William Lidiard Tenn pounds to be
paid within Six months after my decease Item I give unto my sonne Stephen
Lidiard Twenty pounds To be paid within Six months after my decease And to
his Five Children Elizabeth Lidiard Philip Lidiard Alice Lidiard Ann Lidiard Elinor
Lidiard Tenn pounds a peece to be paid at the age of Nyneteen yeares Item I give
unto my sonne in Law Walter Chandlers Four Children Five pounds a peece to be
paid at the age of Nyneteen Item I give unto my kinswoman Katherine
Lidiard my sonne Anthony Lidiards servant tenn pounds to be paid within one yeare
after my decease All the rest of my goods and Chattells I give unto my sonne
Anthony Lidiard whom I make sole Executor of this my last will and Testament
paying my debts Legacies and funerall Expenses I desire my kinsman John
Lidiard of Ruckley to be overseer of this my last will To whom I appoint my
Executor to pay the Legacies of those that are orphans and under age within
Six months after my decease./ The marke of Philip Lidiard. Sealed and delivered
this present Sixteenth day of October 1667 in the prce of John Seymour The
marke of George Rudell.
Probate was granted to Anthony Liddiard on 20th January 1668
