Letter from Thomas Mears to his Niece in America. 19 Jan 1866

Thomas was the brother of Charlotte Walter, the wife of Abraham Walter who was my GG Grandmothers brother Kettering January 19th 1866
My Dear Neice in reply to your Letter
itt is with the greatest of pleasure to me to
hear from you i am married and settled att
Kettering and am doing very Comfortable Thank
God for itt your Aunt Fanny is Living with me
your Aunt Brampton is Living in London and
and all his family except Mary Ann and she
is settled att Finedon yard Aunt Kendall is
been dead about nine years and your Uncle
Kendall is still Living at Ashby and your
Cousin James with him William is Married
and settled att Harrington and is doing well
Mary and John are both dead Your Aunt
Pain has been dead about 10 Years and your
Uncle has dead and her family are all Living
at Geddington except Mary and she is married
and settled att Old your Uncle Ashby has
been dead about 4 years Henery John William
and James? are all Married and settled in
London samuel is married and settled at Dudley

Sarah Craft and James Bennson of
Geddington are both dead Mr and Mrs Smith
are both dead John Smith is still Living att
Geddington and have Gott a farm there he has
three Sons and one daughter Ann Butcher

a farmer att Weekely and the daughter is married
and settled att Willby Near Wellingboro Rebbeca
and Thomas are both dead Bettey is married
and settled att Brighton near London i was
att Rowell on Wednesday [] and see Mr
Bull and Mr Newman? and they was highly
Delighted To hear from you and Disired
me to Give there Kindestt respects to your
father and mother and wanted very much
Like to see you Mum received? a Letter from you
about two years ago and i answered itt butt
itt appears you did not have itt
so now i Conclude and am happy to say
we are all quite well and there is nott one
Day pases butt i think about you all
and should very much Like to see you all
