Clare Flower of Cherhill in the County of Wilts yeoman
being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind
memory and understanding (thanks be to God for the same)
do make and publish this my last will and testament in
manner and form following (that is to say) I give devise
and direct that my loving wife Ann Flower do and shall
receive and take all Interest Dividends and Profits which
may arise grow and be produced as well from my Copy-
hold Lands as from all the personal property of which I may be
possessed for and during her natural life for her own Sole
management use and benefit and that she together with
my Exor hereinafter appointed to ask demand and receive
and in case of nonpayment to bring actions at Law against
any person or persons for any
Book Debts Bonds or Specialties due to me at the time of
my decease and from and after the decease of my said wife
(my Copyhold Estates going of Course according to the Copies
by which they are holden, that is to say, my Estate called
unto my Son Edmund and my Estate called Springbites
unto my Son Clare Flower/ I give unto my Son Edmund Flower
the Sum of One hundred pounds unto my Sons William and John
the Sum of two hundred pounds each unto my Son Clare the
Sum of one hundred and Fifty pounds unto my three
Daughters Catharine the Wife of Edward Hunt
Elizabeth the Wife of William Spackman and Prudence
Rogers the sum of one hundred and Fifty pounds each and
Further I do hereby give and devise unto my said Son Clare
Flower the Sum of three hundred pounds In trust nevertheless
that he the said Clare Flower do and shall put and
place the same at interest on Government or Freehold
Security and do and shall pay and apply the interest of a
moiety or half part thereof unto my daughter Jane the
Wife of Richard Pope for her own use and Support during
her natural life and for her [] alone to be a sufficient
discharge for the same and from and after the decease of my said
Daughter Jane Pope that he my said trustee do and shall make use
of such Interest for the maintenance and Support of any
Child or Children She may have lawfully begotten living at
the time of her decease untill they may severally / if more
than One/ arrive at their several ages of twenty one years
and when and as soon as they shall all have attained the ages
of twenty one years then that he my said trustee do and shall
call in the moiety of the said principal Sum being one hundred and Fifty pounds and divide the same amongst the Several
Children of my said Daughter/ if more than one/ Share and Share
alike and if only one Such Child be then living then to that only
Child nevertheless if it be necessary and he my said trustee or my
said wife during her life should think proper to advance
any sum or sums of money unto my said Daughter in her
life time or to or for the use of the Children after her decease
then that the same shall go to and be deducted from the said
Principal Sum of one hundred and Fifty pounds when it may
be necessary to []up the same and as to other moiety
of the said three hundred pounds In trust that he my said
trustee do and shall pay and apply the Interest thereof
for and towards the maintenance and education of my
Grandsons John and George Harding for and until they shall
severally have arrived at their ages of twenty
one years and when and as soon as they shall both have arrived
to their said ages of twenty one years then that he my said
trustee do and shall divide the said Principal Sum of One
hundred and Fifty pounds betwixt them share and share
alike but should either of them die previous to that time then that the whole
shall go to and be enjoyed by the Survivor and all the rest
residue and remainder of my property whatsoever and
wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality []
after payments of my just Debts and and Funeral and testamentary
expenses I will and direct shall be divided amongst all and
every of my Children who may be living at the time of their
said mothers decease and the Families of those of my saidDaughter
Sons and Daughters who are at this time living but may be
deceased before their said mother their respective parents
shares share and share alike and the share of my said
Daughter Jane the Wife of Richard Pope shall be taken
In trust by my said trustee and Consolidated with and []
in the same manner as is before directed for her said legacy
and I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint my Son
Clare Flower whole and sole Exor of this my last will and
testament hereby revoking and making void all former and
other Wills by me at any time heretofore made In witness
whereof I have to this my last Will and testament contained
in two sheets of paper Set my hand and seal this 31st day

made this eighteenth day of November in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen Whereas In
have by my said last will bearing date the thirty first day
of July last past devised? unto my daughter Prudence Rogers
the Sum of one hundred and Fifty Pounds and likewise a share
in the residue of my Property with her other Brothers and
Sisters and whereas my said Daughter Prudence is since the
making of Such my Will deceased leaving a Son Born? I do
hereby Set aside Such my bewquest or any interest thereof to
her issue and in the Place thereof do hereby give and devise
unto my Son Clare Flower the Sum of One hundred Pounds
In trust that he my said Son do and shall put and place the

the age of twenty one years and when and as soon as he
